Blackpool has long been known for it’s dingy and drab tattoo parlours however things have changed a lot since the “good old days” of backstreet scratching. Blackpool is now considered ‘the tattoo capital of Britain’, according to The Mirror, with an estimated 1 tattoo parlour for every 2,867 people in Blackpool!
If that wasn’t enough, it’s also home to Tatcon Blackpool, an event dedicated to celebrating the art of tattooing – both past and present. This show also marked Johnny Strange’s 2nd performance at the convention in as many years, and once again proved to be an audience favourite.
