Johnny Strange recently got up close and personal with a chainsaw on Dutch TV show, Wedden Dat Ik Het Kan.
Johnny Strange was invited to perform on SBS6’s TV show Wedden Dat Ik Het Kan, the Dutch version of TV show “Go For It!” (UK) and “Challenge Me!” (USA). Strange teamed up with hosts Sylvie Meis and Jeroen van der Boom to perform a variation of one of his death defying stunts with a chainsaw.
Against the clock he had to chainsaw as many apples out of his mouth in just one minute, this dare devil challenge was featured in the 3rd season of the show.
Johnny Strange recently took part in a Guinness World Records’ Facebook Live broadcast.
Facebook Live host, Paul “Pee Wee” Wiggins, joined Johnny for a broadcast held on the Guinness World Records Facebook page. The live chat lasted approximately 45 minutes and included demonstrations of some of Johnny’s bizarre antics as well as an ‘Ask Me Anything’ Q&A with questions being submitted by some of the 198,000+ viewers and read out in real time via Facebook.

This month the new Guinness Book is out, the Guinness Book of Records 2017 twinned with the 2017 Gamers Edition, and once again, for the third year running Johnny Strange’s weird and wonderful stunts have been featured on it’s pages.
The book features some of Johnny’s chainsaw and ‘ears of steel’ Guinness World Records, check them out in the “Don’t Try This At Home, Performers” section of the book.
One of the stunts featured is Johnny’s eye watering, ear stretching, mind over matter feat of endurance. Johnny set the Guinness World Record for “The heaviest weight pulled by pierced ears” when he managed to drag a Cessna 172-P aircraft weighing in at a staggering 0.68 tonnes (677.8kg, 1,494.3lbs).

Johnny Strange and a bunch of familiar faces, including The Wealdstone Raider and Terry Noble, a couple of pin up models, the “horny morph” and an angry police dog put Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch’s penalty skills to the ultimate test.
Johnny Strange appeared on CBBC’s ‘Officially Amazing’ TV show recently where, after settling down for an impromptu BBQ with presenter Ben Shires, he demonstrated some impressive hand-eye coordination with a 6ft bullwhip.
He took on their egg cracking challenge by attempting to whip some eggs into a frenzy in a bid to break another Guinness World Record.

Earlier on in the year Johnny Strange joined host Jimmy Carr to perform on the 7th series of the TV show ‘8 Out of 10 Cats does Countdown’, a crossover between the edgy comedy show, ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’, and the classic words & numbers show, ‘Countdown’.
Johnny performed a sword swallowing stunt in front of the iconic ‘Countdown Clock’, before celebrity panel; Rhod Gilbert, Sean Lock, Jon Richardson and Sara Pascoe.
Other guests included comic, Johnny Vegas, and TV personality, Joey Essex.
Back to back from France Johnny flew over to Hungary for a pit stop where he appeared on the largest commercial television channel in Hungary, TV2.
Here he spoke about some of the bizarre and unusual things he is able to do with his body such as swallowing stainless steel swords to the bottom of his stomach and lifting heavy weights using his super strong pierced ear lobes. Johnny was back in Budapest performing at Lurdy ház, Exhibition halls for the second year running.
