Along with Johnny Strange’s death defying stunts, Spain’s Elena Gibson will be performing her beautiful Tango act and Burlesque star Raven Lenore will be performing her isis wings show. The night will be topped off with DJ Rockit Riyad spinning disks into the early hours.
Today marks the twelfth annual Guinness World Records Day, which will see thousands of people across the globe come together for one very special celebration of record breaking.
The annual event, which commemorates the day in 2004 when Guinness World Records became the world’s bestselling copyright book, sees thousands of people all over the world attempt to secure a prestigious world records title during a 24 hour period.

This Halloween season Johnny Strange brought the Fright Night Freakshow to Cursed, Essex’s number 1 scare attraction.
For October, Wat Tyler Country Park’s 125 acres of stunning parkland in the heart of the south Essex marshes, was transformed into a adrenaline fuelled award-winnging Halloween fright night experience for the fifth year running.
Attractions such as Toy Sop, Pig Pen, Arachnid, Cell 13, The Nag Inn, FestEvil and WorkChop are back by popular demand with the newest attraction, Amphi-Fear-ter, being added as the newest attraction to line up; a full carnival freak show experience with sword swallowers, contortionists, fire eaters and more.
Johnny Strange spent the weekend in Ireland performing at the Galway Tattoo Show. The show brought together some of the world’s best international tattoo artists and some of Ireland’s best tattoo talent.
As well as Johnny Strange’s comedy/ daredevil show the event also featured walkabout entertainment, live music, an art gallery, body painting, a tattoo cinema, photo booths, market stalls and traders.
This month the new Guinness Book is out, the Guinness Book of Records 2017 twinned with the 2017 Gamers Edition, and once again, for the third year running Johnny Strange’s weird and wonderful stunts have been featured on it’s pages.
The book features some of Johnny’s chainsaw and ‘ears of steel’ Guinness World Records, check them out in the “Don’t Try This At Home, Performers” section of the book.
One of the stunts featured is Johnny’s eye watering, ear stretching, mind over matter feat of endurance. Johnny set the Guinness World Record for “The heaviest weight pulled by pierced ears” when he managed to drag a Cessna 172-P aircraft weighing in at a staggering 0.68 tonnes (677.8kg, 1,494.3lbs).

Johnny Strange teamed up with Dream Team FC to put The F2 Freestylers through their paces in their ‘distraction penalties’ video.
Johnny Strange and a bunch of familiar faces, including The Wealdstone Raider and Terry Noble, a couple of pin up models, the “horny morph” and an angry police dog put Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch’s penalty skills to the ultimate test.
Johnny Strange has just finished performing at the luxurious Leeds Castle, which over the years has been called home by the likes of Edward I and Henry VIII.
Dubbed “the loveliest castle in the world”, Leeds Castle boasts it’s own Falconry, Hedge Maze and Grotto, and was the ideal picturesque setting for this exclusive Masquerade Ball.
Along with Daredevil stunts, stilt walkers, fire eaters and a classical orchestra, they also organised a private airshow from a Spitfire jet. Guests enjoyed Champagne delivered by ladies in dresses surrounded by champagne glasses as they dined in one of the castles great halls.
Another year, another great convention. This time Powys Charity Tattoo Convention, Wales, raised a staggering £5500 for The Riley and Jensen Foundation, St John’s Ambulance and The Royal British Legion. Everything from lip sync battles to prize auctions (…and even an auctioned off live beard shaving) helped make it another great success.
